Principal's Message
Week 3 of Term 2.
We hope this newsletter finds you well and that you are settling into the new term smoothly. As always, we have some exciting updates and important information to share with you.
Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to our incredible students, parents, and staff for their ongoing dedication. Our school community has continued to thrive, adapting to new learning environments and embracing innovative approaches to education.
Our Annual Sports Day is just around the corner! Students are eagerly preparing for a day filled with friendly competition, teamwork, and school spirit. It promises to be a fun-filled event for all participants and spectators. Mrs James is busily preparing our day, keep a look out for her emails.
Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) has announced a new initiative to provide every primary school within the diocese with a Wellbeing Officer.
The wellbeing of our students is of utmost importance, and we are committed to ensuring our schools provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students to learn and grow. This role will be dedicated to providing students with the support they need to thrive academically, emotionally and socially.
The Wellbeing Officer will develop a whole-school approach to promote wellbeing practices covering a range of issues, including mental health, social skills, resilience, and self-esteem.
During Week 4, I will be attending the ACSP Princiapl's conference in Wollongong. The theme is “New Hope, New Growth. A celebration of Catholic Educational Leadership". The ACSP Conference will focus on the new ways of thinking about why and how we educate and lead.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education journey. We value your involvement and look forward to another successful week ahead. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
God bless,
