Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Coolah

Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Coolah which was founded in 1921 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph. Sacred Heart is a co-educational, Kindergarten to Year 6 Catholic school. We are located in Coolah, a small rural town in the Central West of NSW and within the Diocese of Bathurst. We are proud of the students, parents and staff that make up our warm and friendly community.

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is a Professional Learning Community where our staff collaborate to ensure high levels of learning for all students in the school.

We are at an exciting time in the world of education. With new developments in technology and industry, the development of critical and creative thinking are more important than ever. At Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, we value the importance of these skills along with the explicit teaching of foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.

With a strong emphasis on pastoral care, School Wide Positive Behaviours 4 Learning (SPB4L) underpins our school’s behaviour management policy. A strong emphasis is placed on teaching students the behaviours needed to be successful learners and supporting them if they require more learning in this area.

As a Catholic school we aim to place the development of strong relationships at the core of all we do. With Christ as our guide, we choose every day to show the love of Christ to all.

We are all extremely proud of our school, especially the little hearts that radiate the love of God to each other each and every day through both work and play.
