Principal's Message

As we reach the end of another incredible term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the achievements and growth we have experienced together as a school community. This term has been filled with remarkable accomplishments, cherished memories, and unwavering dedication from each and every one of you.

Academic Excellence:

Our students have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence throughout the term. With the guidance and support of our talented teachers, they have surpassed expectations and achieved outstanding results. Their hard work, perseverance, and thirst for knowledge have truly shone through in their achievements.

Innovative Learning:

This term, we embraced innovative learning strategies that foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Our classrooms became dynamic spaces where students actively engaged with hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving. By embracing new methodologies, we hope to have nurtured a love for learning that extends far beyond the walls of our school.

Arts and Athletics:

Our students' talents in the arts and athletics have continued to flourish. From breathtaking musical performances and captivating art exhibitions to thrilling sporting events and outstanding athletic achievements, our school has truly been a hub of creativity and athletic prowess. We celebrate the dedication, teamwork, and passion that our students have displayed in these endeavors.

Looking Ahead:

As we bid farewell to this term, we eagerly anticipate the next chapter of our educational journey. We will continue to prioritise the holistic development of our students, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Together, we will explore new horizons, embrace challenges, and inspire one another to reach for the stars.

God Bless,

Kylie Scott

RE Happenings

At Sacred Heart, we are guided by the inspiring mission and values of the Josephites, who serve as our patron saints. The Josephite mission calls us to emulate the life and teachings of St. Mary MacKillop and the Sisters of St. Joseph. We are committed to fostering a community that embodies the following Josephite values:

  1. Compassion: We strive to cultivate a deep sense of empathy and care for one another. Inspired by St. Mary MacKillop's devotion to those in need, we actively seek to alleviate suffering and support those who are marginalised or disadvantaged.

  2. Justice: Upholding the principles of social justice, we work towards creating a fair and equitable society. Following the example of the Sisters of St. Joseph, we advocate for the rights and dignity of all individuals, addressing systemic issues and promoting a more just world.

  3. Inclusivity: In the spirit of St. Mary MacKillop's inclusive vision, we embrace diversity and welcome people from all backgrounds and cultures. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and included, celebrating the unique gifts and contributions of each person.

  4. Excellence: Inspired by the commitment to excellence demonstrated by the Sisters of St. Joseph, we pursue academic and personal growth with passion and dedication. We encourage our students to reach their full potential, fostering a love of learning and nurturing their talents and abilities.

As a Catholic school community, we are entrusted with the mission of living out these Josephite values in our daily lives. Through our words, actions, and interactions, we aspire to be compassionate, just, inclusive, and committed to excellence. Together, let us embrace the Josephite mission and values, empowering our students to become compassionate and courageous disciples of Christ, making a positive impact on the world around them.
