Term 2 2025 Weeks 3 & 4
Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for gathering with us to celebrate our Catholic Schools Week festivities last week. It was indeed a whirlwind of activity, filled with connection.
On Monday we welcomed three new siblings into our Sacred Heart school family: Addison in Year 6, Harry in Year 4, and Emily in Year 3. It is a delight to have each of you join our community!
Our ‘Little Hearts Transition Program’ began last Thursday, 15th May, with eight eager little ones. The children enjoyed another fun-filled day today. If you know of any children who will embark on their school journey next year, please share the news of our cost and commitment-free ‘Little Hearts Transition Program’ with them.
This week, I had the privilege of attending the Association of Catholic School Principals Conference in the picturesque (and very wet!) Hunter Valley. In this Jubilee Year of Hope, it is fitting that the central theme of the conference revolved around a future filled with hope. School leaders were inspired and challenged to empower our students to become ‘future makers.’ By nurturing the seeds of faith, hope, and love in partnership with families, our students will continue to blossom and reach for the stars.
Enjoy the rest of your week and have a lovely weekend.
God bless and kind regards,
Sarah-Jane
